This policy explains what IPTV Player collects when you use this website and what happens to it.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address and a password, which our authentication provider stores in hashed form.
- Provider details you add: Xtream server addresses, usernames and passwords, M3U links, and the channel lists from your playlists. Provider logins and playlist links are encrypted at rest and passwords are not shown back in the browser.
- Your activity in the player: favorites, content filters, and watch history, including titles and how far you got, so you can resume on another device.
- Signed-in devices: your browser’s user agent and when each device was last active, so you can see and sign out devices on your account.
- Technical data: our hosting provider may process IP addresses, browser details and request logs to run and protect the site.
How we use it
We use this information to sign you in, connect to the sources you add, save your settings, keep the service secure and answer your messages. We don’t sell your account information.
Who can see your data
The site’s administrator can see your email address, account dates, signed-in devices, favorites counts, your provider profiles (including server hosts and usernames), and your recent watch history, in order to run and support the service. Your provider passwords and playlist links are stored encrypted. The operator holds the encryption key and can decrypt them to run and support the service, so treat the operator as able to see them; use a provider login you’re comfortable sharing with this site.
Video streams
To play in a browser, streams may pass through our server on their way from your provider to you. We don’t record them, and our logs for this are limited to the provider’s host name.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in. Advertising partners may also use cookies and similar technology, as described below. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, but you’ll need the sign-in cookies to use the player.
Advertising
This site may show ads from third-party networks, including Monetag and Adsterra. These companies may use cookies, device identifiers and your IP address to show, measure and personalize ads and to prevent fraud. Their use of this data is covered by their own privacy policies. You can limit it through your browser’s privacy settings or an ad blocker.
Service providers
We use Supabase for accounts and our database and Netlify for hosting. They process data for us so the service can run, and this may happen outside your country. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your data while your account is open. You can remove provider profiles in the app, which also removes the watch history and favorites stored with them. To delete your whole account, email us from your account’s address and we will delete it.
Your choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or to object to how it is used. Email us to make a request.
Children
This site is not intended for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
Security
We use encrypted connections and encrypt stored provider logins, but no online service can be completely secure.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
